Big Quiz
Each year the Kent Messenger Group and the children's road safety charity Kent and Medway Walking Bus Group team up to organise a series of mammoth wine and wisdom events around the county.
Heats of the KM Big Quiz take place in Ashford, Canterbury, Maidstone and Medway and raise approximately £20,000 for good causes each year.
The top teams from the event are invited to the county final in December which takes place at the Shepherd Neame Brewery in Faversham. For details on the next KM Big Quiz event click the 'Find out More' button or view www.kmbigquiz.co.uk where you can also book and pay for your table online.
KM Community Treasure Chest
THE Community Treasure Chest is an initiative designed to support the fund-raising activities of charities and good causes in Kent.
COMMUNITY groups, charities and individuals may apply to the KM Community Treasure Chest to receive prizes to support their fund-raising activities. These can be used for raffles and auctions. The scheme is supported by organisations including Leeds Castle, P&O Ferries, Hop Farm, Historic Dockyard Chatham and Gillingham Football Club.
Kent Charity Challenge
The Kent Messenger Group is helping to raise funds for good causes in Kent by promoting the Kent Charity Challenge.
Administered by the Kent and Medway Walking Bus Group, the public are challenged to take part in sponsored abseils and zip wire events. These activities are organised by trained professionals who have the required public liability insurance.

Kent Walking Bus
The Kent Messenger inspired walk to school charity Kent and Medway Walking Bus Group organises a range of initiatives to teach children road safety skills and provide a positive alternative to the school run.
